My research interests fall primarily in the area of juvenile delinquency and/or Conduct Disorder. Specifically, assessment practices in juvenile courts that promote effective intervention, interagency collaboration in the juvenile justice system, advocacy for youth placed at-risk, evidence-based counseling interventions with delinquent youth. My secondary interests lie in the area of psychology of religion (specifically religiosity/spiritual and their relationship to help-seeking, altruism and coping), technology in clinical/professional training contexts, and the processes of burnout and secondary traumatization among helping professionals.
